I always had a passion for the outdoors. As a child, I remember climbing trees with my older brothers whenever the opportunity arose. My grandfather would even put me in a tree as punishment for acting up, but I always found my way down. I never would have thought that I’d end up building a career out of that passion I had as a young boy. When I was 18, I began working as a groundsman for Campbell’s Tree Service and learned the ropes. Once I’d figured out the basics from the ground, soaking up every bit of knowledge I could, I started reading and studying literature on arboriculture. After each long day of work, I’d return home to the woods and practice climbing trees - seeing how far I could get each day. Once I became skilled enough, I began climbing for the Campbells. By age 21, I advanced my position to foreman and ran the crew from the air. I began taking contract climbing jobs on the side for Fulton Forestry and Limitless Trees and More. Later, I built relationships with customers by providing honest and quality work, straying from common malpractice known to the industry. Now, with over a thousand technical removals under my belt and years of pruning, planting, and studying arboriculture I’ve branched off on my own to form Loudoun Tree Care.
